Cellulose Thickeners / HEC

It is one of water soluble cellulose hydroxyl groups with methoxy and/or hydroxyl propoxyl groups. It is obtained by etherfication reaction, which converts water insoluble celluse ito soluble celluse ethers. It is applied to building materials, civil constructions, paints, chemical industries,cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and a host of other applications. It provides thickining properties of it solution and improves adhesion character, water retention aid and rheology modifier in water based paints and surface coating. At the same time it gives mechanical and chemical stability, while offering a good colour acceptance, colour development, viscosity retention on tinting, superior biostability, fast dispersion and easier dissolving in water.
